Chi-Town Brides is a branded blog by Photobooths.com created to attract visits from their primary target: brides-to-be in Chicago. In conjunction with the blog strategy, the Top 100 Chicago Wedding Vendors Guide is a set of landing pages and bridal resources hosted onsite.
Objective: strike a chord with bridal audience in Chicago — the blog helps the rental company’s brand establish itself as a helpful, transparent, and fun resource while leading users to the full site and converting leads. Content marketing works to increase authority and rankings in terms of SEO, garner social attention, get users engaging with the brand, and ultimately increase quotes coming from visitors of the blog.
Over the first 7 months from launch (July 2014), the blog received 8,882 pageviews from organic search alone, making it the the 3rd most visited part of the site behind the homepage and Event Photos section.
Overall Chi-Town Brides has been a great success. So much that we were able to brainstorm with the client, restrategize, and also go after their secondary target, the big money: the corporate sphere.

The set of landing pages includes 11 categories on the best venues, caterers, flowers, and more. Each section lists the top 10 businesses and professionals along with helpful overviews, reviews, contact info, services offered, and comparison charts.
Within first two months of launch, the Guide generated 222 qualified leads of the 468 times it was viewed — a 50% conversion rate from people who visited the guide, clicked “get pricing,” and entered their info. In just 5 months the guide received over 800 organic pageviews.
